What we did:
We began filming our beginning sequence which involves the green screen
in the studio. I had previously gone to take Recce Shots with Serena and
used one of those photos to create the background which links back to
the narrative. I colorized the picture and retrieved the photograph from
my U: drive from the computer in the studio. Using the Tricaster we
placed our picture onto the green screen and adjusted the screen so that
the actors could see where they were on the photograph. After our
actors had gotten ready and looked like the visioned personas we began
to film, we filmed Bronte lip-syncing in time with the music several
times in different camera angles which were on our storyboard. We also
got them to look around the room as if they were coming alive which
makes reference back to our narrative, the filming lasted several hours
and after we finished the .mpeg files where transferred from the
tricaster to my U: drive.
The Narrative of the video:There is a painting of a couple
on there wedding day, the female persona is sick of being stuck in a small
framed space, eventually she's had enough of being a painting and decides to
break free leaving her husband confused at her sudden departure. She finds
herself in the museum where she explores vicariously as if she was human,
passing against the houses she finds some candles and begins to light the dark
world which is the realistic look on life when she escaped from her optimistic
lifestyle.
